Lewis and Haroon

Along with other pupils at Spring Grove Junior School, Lewis and Haroon participated in a workshop which looked at the meaning of war and peace. Haroon shares his poem with Clare

They read their poems entitled "War is..."

Lewis reads,

War is destruction,
War is full of blood,
War is full of fighting,
People killed don’t rest in peace,
Black signifies war.

Peace makes quietness,
Peace makes calmness,
Peace makes no war,
People killed rest in peace,
White signifies peace/

Haroon reads,

War is full of flying planes,
War is full of crashing trains,
Peace makes you laugh,
Things like peace are roses.
