Alan Smith
Alan Smith, 88, of Waterloo, Huddersfield, recalls some of his wartime memories, as well as remembering his father and uncle, who both fought in the First World War. His uncle was gassed on the Somme. Alan is a member of the Huddersfield Deanery Project, and was interviewed by students at Almondbury High School as part of their Bridge the Gap work.
